average pluq weight

I've been thinking about making a pluq and was wondering first, what is the degree rating if I add 3-4 yards of IX, and second, how much does a pluq weigh compared to a down uq of the same degree rating?

My "no sew" PLUQ with suspension weighs 26oz. That is with no additional insulation. My IX 2/3 diy UQ with 3 layers of IX and a 1.1 inner and outer shell with suspension is 17oz. Temp ratings on these are kind of subjective to say the least but for me the PLUQ will get me to about 50* and the IX gets me to about 32*. My Hammock Gear 20* Incubator ( full length) weighs in at 26 oz. With suspension and is accurately rated IMO. Hope this all helps!
