The idea was borne of my experience using a
poncho to cover the end of my MacCat Deluxe in the rain. The design is to "cut away" as much of the poncho shape as I can to just get the door...lay the edge of a door side on top of the tarp, and connect tabs on the door to tabs on the tarp, with some down-the-spine suspension to provide some tension.
I did a barter deal thing with the PreachaMan, and when he and his wife get back from wherever they are this June they've promised to build this to some specs I provided them.

It's been all I can do to keep from making this myself. But they're going to, and this is my summer for house maintenance
(at least when I'm home).
I hope I'll have some experience with this later in the summer.
