DIYGearSupply Customer Service Rocks!!!

I recently bought a length of 1.5 ripstop fabric from DIYGearSupply to make a long hammock and some other projects. I have purchased DIY materials from them a number of times in the past and have always been extremely happy with their service. Unfortunately, this time I didn't check the fabric before I cut off the pieces for the smaller projects - leaving only the length for the hammock.

As I was sewing the hem on the hammock, I noticed a small manufacturing flaw in the piece that concerned me for the strength of the hammock.

I emailed Scott at DIYGearSupply to let him know my problem, and even though the product is labeled as seconds, he immediately sent me enough fabric so that I could finish my hammock project!

So, two lessons from the experience. One, make sure that you inspect your fabric before you start to cut it up, as if there ever is a problem, you can usually just cut it out. Second, make sure that you deal with great vendors so that you have the best experience possible.

I have to say that not only does DIYGearSupply have great selection and pricing, but their customer service really supports those of us who DIY!!!
