Hello and thanks from Augusta, GA

I just wanted to give an official greeting and say thanks for all your posts! These forums have saved me cash and time (okay maybe not time because I'm on here a lot). I'm rocking a GT ultralight (need to upgrade) with 6' whoopies and loving it. Anyone got a recommendation for a new hammock? Price isn't too important as long as it will fit me (I'm 6'4" 225) and it will last at least a few years. Thanks again!

My next one will be a WBBB.

I have noticed, however, that my Grand Trunk Skeeter Beeter Pro is a little roomier than my Ultralight and comes with bug net. You said price is not that important, so I hesitate to recommend it. I bought it because it was feature rich, but more importantly, for its price. West Tennessee skeeters (and the ones in the Mississippi Delta where I am from) are large enough to reproduce with turkeys and plentiful enough that you can clap your hands at dusk on a summertime day you can kill five of the bloodsuckers.

That said, I like the SBP and you can get one for less than $60 and that's a steal considering it comes with a suspension kit and bungee cord for the netting.

But like I said, I want the WBBB for my next one.

Wilderness Logics Lite Owl's have been developing a good following here. 11' is on the long side of hammocks. Some good reviews on YouTube from members on here, like HamMike. Shug did a good review of their single layer 1.1oz, think it's called the Snipe. I was planning on getting one before HammockGear had to go andd tell us they're releasing a hammock soon.

Welcome to the Club... I'm loving my WBBB, check them out, not sure how the fit at 6'4" would be...

I just got a Snipe (lovin it!) Next I’m looking at a PapaSmurf DangerBird! I currently use an eno DN, it’s my goto ‘mock! I have been sleeping in it every night since X-mas… No plans whatsoever of going back to a bed!
The choice is yours! Just have fun with what you get and if ya don’t (even if ya do!) buy more… One is never enough!
