Keep in mind that this is from memory, as I don't tipically follow any specific recipie.
    Vegitable stew recipe:
    1 yam
    1 large red potato
    I small onion
    1 red pepper
    1green pepper
    4-6 celery stalks
    .25 lb crimini mushrooms
1- 12 oz can of tomatoe sauce
    1 packet of Vegitable bulion
    1 packet Sazon w/ saffron
    1 tbs sage
    1 tbs thyme
    1/2 stick of butter
    1 tsp garlic
    2 tbs rue
    2 bay leaves
    2 cans of pilsbury biscuits

In pot fry rue and spices until browned. Then add diced carrots, celery, peppers, and mushrooms to pot. Add remaining ingredients to pot and add enough water to almost fill pot. Bing to simmer and simmer for about 1 hour, stirrinf occasionally. Add the biscuits and continue simmer for an additional 30 minutes. Biscuits cook as dumplings. Serve in bowls brought by fellow campers and laddle with a pot brought by fellow camper because you forgot to bring a laddle.

Sounds like a fun time was had by all. I know Kane, Brandon, and I had a great time. Just wish It could have been longer.. Oh well, next time. I'll see what I can do for pictures in the next day or so. Video on the other hand will be a while. The poor editing machine has been working overtime to convert files

Oh, BTW 15 degrees in a 20 system is cold....

I had a wonderful time at the hang. I was a little disappointed to miss Friday, but maybe next year. I was hanging in my DangerBird [still by far my favorite hammock], and a HammockGear 20 deg burrow & incubator. I was toasty warm even at 15 degrees, but I'm a pretty warm sleeper.

Great to meet everybody and enjoy Buenos' yummy stew.

At sea, I learned how little a person needs, not how much.

    chilly

i had my setup ready for 20 degrees, but it got a little colder and so did I. I liked seeing the danger bird. what a sweet setup. he is not taking orders right now, too swamped. i slept in a cheap travel hammock by bayer and a homemade underquilt that was not really attached well. but cold or not any night in a hammock is a good night!!

Umtanum Creek area on the LT Murray. Nice place. Especially in spring when the wildflowers are blooming.

Hey thanks rodwolfy. Having people enjoy our videos keeps us doing them.

Buenos, Thanks for the recipe. Your stew is the best!
