Just bought my second Clark and can't wait to get it here. I bought a NX 250 a while back from a member here and after letting my 15 year old lay in it he said he wanted one for himself. I found an NX 150 in the classified section here and pulled the trigger. I still haven't told my boy but I think we will go for an over nighter this weekend and I will switch out his tent for the hammock before we take off. Can't wait to see his face when we stop to make camp and he goes looking for his tent.

Makes me a bit jealous. My "boys" are in the 40's and I miss us all being younger. I can imagine the surprise and delight your son will experience when he discovers the "swap". Let us all know how it turns out.

I'll be sure to get some pics of the event. I used to love hiking and camping when I was younger and single but as my kids are getting older the enjoyment i get from introducing them to stuff I learned from my Dad as a kid is just the best feeling.

That's awesome! I'm sure you've already thought of it but don't forget to bring whatever additional bottom gear he'll need to keep warm. IE; Wings for any pad he might normally use with his tent etc. Oh yeah.....try to have your camera ready when he pulls out his "tent" from his pack. That pic would define.....priceless.
