    Video: Miquelon Lake 1 nighter

Just a quick overnighter. My buddies' first real hang in snow. Temps got down around -10c. It wasn't really a hike (you'll se the car!!) in but it was still great to be out on a very nice day.

What's that white stuff all over the ground? Sounds crunchy and cold!

    Good vid, thanks!

Yeah, it is fantastic hanging at wintertime. But tell me, did you guys use hot water bottles in the hammocks.
Great report and thanks for sharing.

    Hey Blaze
No we didn't use water bottles. Interestingly enough when I went to bed it was -6c and at about 2am I checked my thermometer that was in my shelf and the temp read +2c. I just wore some Merino wool underwear, a pair of fleece pants, inserted a reflectix pad for the first time, a merino underwear top and a couple fleece pullovers, laid on my jacket and had my top and bottom quilts.
My buddy had pretty much the same except he used an additional sleeping bag to crawl into and he said he was hot and had to remove some clothes through the night.
