Thumbs up Outdoor Wilderness Fabrics Inc.

OWF doesnt get much shine-time around here compared to some of the other great suppliers here but I wanted to just take a min and give them a good review for all they have done for me over the many orders I have placed through them. Besides their HUGE selection of supplies, their customer service is awesome. I generally call in my orders and talk to Lynn who is so patient and kind to me and has helped me with all my questions on various items that I plan to use for my projects.

Recently I made a booboo on one of my hammock projects and was worried I would have to scratch the whole project because I failed to foresee an issue with one of my two zipper pulls only having a tab on the outside vs being a double tab. This normally wouldn't be a problem because I could simply order a new pull for the zipper that had double tabs but the zipper model I was using was the older style and is no longer in use. (just my luck, I got the last of the old models)
Anyways, they went to work finding whether or not zipper pulls from other, shorter but similar zippers would possibly fit, and after 15 anxious mins waiting for the call back, they had a cheap solution for me that did not involve me seam ripping 6 rows of 105" zipper coils or buying 3 new $12 a piece zippers.

I just wanted to say thank you for taking the time to troubleshoot this for me and for saving me from having to gut my project and/or buying all new zippers. They went way out of their way to help me and I really appreciate it.

    Yall guys rock...

As a business owner myself, I know first hand how far a little personal help can go. It helps to build a relationship between the business and customer. I will check these guys out for a future project I'm planning that requires some special fabric. It looks like they have what I need. Thanks!

They are some fine down to earth folks. We have been buying material from them from the start. Their customer service is awesome and they are always pleasant on the phone. Every time I have a question about a fabric or item, which is often, they either have an answer or they will call the mill/manufacturer and call back with the answer.

I've only had a couple of dealings with them (my brother-in-law's couples quilt materials and a couple of other things), but they've all been very positive. Great customer service and fast shipping, combined with competitive pricing, make for a wonderful experience.

My very first orders for DIY fabric were from OWF. I've ordered from a couple others since then, too, for specific gear pieces, but still consider OWF my main "go to" supplier. Nice to hear others have had similar experiences with these fine folks.

Problem free order filled for me recently on untreated digicam ripstop for my first hammock. Very friendly and very quick shipping. On my 'will order from again' list for sure.
