Yeah, that is my new 2wt I built with a lot of help from my buddy over at Southwest Custom Rods. Its a fatter two tone half wells grip, and a nice reel seat. We decided not to put the insert in the seat and let the blank show through. The rod casts like a dream. Its a 4pc 6' 6" mod/fast blank by Batson.

I built a rod on a Diamondback blank 12 years ago, and broke the tip within the first season. The blank was warranted for life, but I couldn't get myself to put all that time into the wraps again! I must say though, that custom grip shape looks mighty comfortable and may convince me to build my next rod when I find a "need" for another one..

I just looked at the Batson site, those blank prices are phenomenal!
