    WB 1.7 Dbl Ripping Seam

This is my first hammock, and I've had it for a bit, but it's starting to rip in the place shown below. I don't believe that this would effect the hammock's ability to support weight, but want to be sure.

This is a patch of black fabric on the right side (inside) between the bottom of the hammock and the bug net.

Thoughts? Should I try to fix it? Ignore it?

That patch is for reinforcement I believe and I think it should be fixed. It doen't look like a difficult repair job but it you are not handy with a thread injsector or hand sewing you could always contact Brandon about it.

I'm decent at sewing, but I'm not sure what the best way to repair this is. Originally, this patch was sewn in the seem between the two sheets of ripstop. I don't think I can tuck it back into that seam.

Should I just sew across 1/4" ish above the seam?

Wish I could help but I'm not much of a sewer. Sounds reasonable though. As long as it is secure and won't continue to come undone I can't really see it being a problem. Hopefully others with experience can chime in.

Send it back if you can spare it for two weeks. I would. Brandons does repairs all the time.

Send it back for about a two week turnaround. Warbonnet does repairs on their gear.

Don't sit in the shelf...like some people ...and it shouldn't have any impact. Otherwise, I'm positive Warbonnet will fix it if you contact Brandon.
