REV, I just sent you a PayPal payment. Apparently, I can't follow simple directions, though, 'cause I neglected to put my username in the notes section.

I hate that I will be missing this one. I have a trip planned to Texas, and can't change it due to my work schedule. Darn!!!
"No whining in the woods"

awesome guys, we got about 20 hangers now with 3 more by my count who are coming but havent done the spread sheet (Capt. Smiley, im looking at you).
Guys, just wanted to say thanks to everyone thats already signed up and has paid the entry, and just remind everyone that unless i got you on a special exception i would prefer you prepay because if 50 people sign up, and 20 show then ive covered for 30 people... the funds go to make sure we have enough room "officially" and anything extra goes towards things like firewood and the like.
ALSO, last year we had a central fire pit that we all gathered around. each individual "site" has its own fire pit, (several hammocks to a site) so you CAN use those if you wish, but I ask if ANYONE has room and the ability to grab a pile of wood or two from either one of the gas stations on the way into santee or the park general store (or from home) it would help a lot. last year i grossly underestimated how much wood we'd need and that we could find in the wild, and i ended up buying close to $100 in wood over the 3 days. no big deal, just trying to learn from last year and trying to head off being overloaded with stuff for the raffle, hang, and 2 peoples gear.
Just to make sure everyone is on the same page: this is (technically) a 4 day event.
Friday the 7th, I will arrive around lunch and setup my personal camp and start on the camp prep
Saturday the 8th is general hang out day, do whatever.
Sunday the 9th, which is also a general hang out day. I got this day so people wouldnt need to rush out by the 11am checkout that morning. just relax....
Monday the 10th: Check out by 11 for any stragglers.
now, with all that serious stuff out of the way, does anyone have a preference on raffle days? Last year we did it on saturday, so that people got a chance to play with new gear for a night if they wanted. im thinking the same for this year.
heres a reminder of some of the stuff coming:
Tato Gear and stove!!!
and these (theres more, too...)
