Whoopie beads?

That is a great idea. I had forgotten to bead mine and have just tied a small piece of lash-it to the loop. This looks much cleaner and more reliable. Now I gotta get my splicing tools out again.

I bought a package from wally world in the arts and crafts section. They were called pony beads. Only a few bucks for a package of 500. Way more than I needed but that was the smallest package I could find.

I found the same pack for a buck at Dollar General. Either way, they ain't bad. I'm putting them on the next batch I make.

I didn't realize it till I had made all the whoopies I needed, but this is one of the few places you can be really creative. I live a couple of blocks from the Atlantic ocean, and all manner of flotsam and jetsam washes up. Next time I make a whoopie, I'm using this AT&T Death Star looking thing for my adjustable loop stopper!

That looks like a "bio ball" or some other brand of biological filter media. They're used (en masse) to provide surface area for bacteria to grow on... in an aquarium filter. The bacteria need Oxygen, so they pack these in an area, and drip aquarium water over them. The bacteria break down the fish-poo...

I have used beads, though when I forget, I just tie a loop of cord (usually to a toggle, too) . . . keeps it all together.

Haha ya'll are over engineering that. It's a little toy piece from a Knex/ Lego type playset. Cant remember exactly what the toy brand is but a kid probably left it on the beach lol.
