    openable whoopie sling

or maybe closeable ucr? not sure if there is much of an application for this,or if it has been shown. recently i was making up a whoopie and discovered i had two to short of lengths of amsteel left.i then had the idea that if i tied a big knot(monkeyfist) in the end of a ucr bury i could hang the looped end of the working part of the ucr back onto it.pictures will hopefully describe it better.
    the bury

    all hooked up

    hanging

of course the loop could be made nacra like,or have a slideing whipped stopper or scarab.i have hung on it 5 times and feel with this big of knot it will not come undone.the knot could possibly be substituted with one of those hooks or small biners that dutch guy makes.
thought i would share it incase someone can use it.

If the loop won’t slip the knot that’s a pretty cool idea!

Looks like a great idea to me with many applications. Think I'll give this a try on my next diy set of whoopies.

I saw these in use at the Froze Butt Hang.

They worked very well and were easy to use with gloves or mittens on.

It allows the suspension to be shorter than with just the UCR.
More pitch options. Next ones I make I will add the monkey fist to the end just to increase my options

    Thanks for sharing
