how do you deploy your hammock.

How do you personally deploy your hammock? I found taking one side down and rolling it up works best for me. Once I get the hammock rolled all the way up I take my webbing suspension which I left hanging out the side and wrap it tight around the hammock bundle side to side. Than I undue the suspension still up and wrap that around the bundle the opposite direction.

I take one side down and stuff in bag , that hangs on the ridgeline, until I get to other end then unhook strap and stuff in end of bag.

I use the stock double ended stuff sack provided by Warbonnet, detach suspension from one side of the hammock, stuff my hammock in and detach the other side, unwrap suspension from around tree and and pack away in my tent steak bag. I like to pack my suspension system and hammock separately in case the straps get wet or their is sap on them.

I put the whole thing into and out of the stock snakeskins, then smoosh everything into the bag that came from Hennessy. It is a tight fit but it gets there.

I feel like rolling it the way i do makes it smaller and easier than trying to pull into a sack.

Tarp and hammock both have snakeskins. I skin them undo suspension/ridgeline fold in half twice. Wrap tightly with lines and strap to outside of pack.

I like having the seperate skins. Allows me to skin the hammock and tie it up to the tarp ridgeline out of the way for more rain shelter for multiple people.

I stuff mine into a black bishop bag that hangs on the foot end of my hammock. I'll close the mouth of the bag about half way so that I can start stuffing the hammock before I detach the suspension and it doesn't fall out of the bag when only half stuffed. Although for winter time I do like the idea of the lazy slug tube to just grab everything at once and be done.

I follow this same principal (and one of my go-to hammocks is the same color and my webbing looks like yours... weird), but I can never get mine rolled up as "purdy" as yours. Mine looks like a (bleep)ing mess of cords and green hammock material, but it works.
