    My 1st DIY Hammock ... "Onyx"

    I made my 1st DIY Hammock and Stuff Sack tonight. Made a 11' Side-Stretch Gathered End !! Big thanks to JC785 for giving me a crash course in sewing101 tonight.

    -11' JoAnn 1.9 Ripstop
    -NK Outdoors Whoopies
    -NK Outdoors Ridgeline
    -4' Shock Cord

    (Please excuse the crappy pics. My droid has been dropped too many times I think)

    It was very comfy. I added the side-stretch after the test hang. Cant wait to test that out.

    I am going to judge you're thread-injecting skills... they're great. Those stitch lines are straighter than what I've done. Nice job, congrats on your first DIY. Be careful, it probably wont be the last

    Awesome job dude! Im doing an 11' stretch side gathered end also, but mine will be a double layer because I am double-layer sized. Your work turned out great!
