That really looks comfy cozy.
That really looks comfy cozy.
I think it's awesome that you put your doormat on the ground next to it

Pretty sweet setup!
I was a little inquisitive on the OC too, but Randy explained it acts as some protection and a lot of privacy. I can say, without ever having toyed with any type of OC other than a tarp, that the wind was BLOWING for the maiden hang / photo shoot. That thing cut the interior wind movement to nill. I literally couldn't feel a whisper on the interior, even compared to the netting being closed (which does cut the wind a little). I can see it adding some noticeable temp range if needed. Privacy is obvious, but unappreciated till you're inside one with an OC.
The cordage: THIS in 1/16 and forest green. It is awesome with prussics and would likely give before my tarp would (oh yeah, my tarp coordinates ) and, as a fisherman, I know 85lb test is no joke. I really like it. I have an email into them inquiring as to whether they make an Amsteel competitor.
The doormat: The joy of having three suitable trees in my little front yard. The kids know that's part of the deal (and the grass was wetter than it looks) if they want to test a hammock. Shoes off!
As to name: I've been playing with that a lot, but I think I've got it. I drive a 4x4 truck in the same color scheme and a name I've kinda taken for granted. My specific incarnation from Randy, with complete suspension, is essentially tied for weight with my BB, but is a ton bigger. I christen it:

Very nice setup! and Thx for sharing the pics.
I really like the feature of using part cover with bug net.
Enjoy!

Beeuteeful. I might have to talk to Randy.
What kind of mod is Adam making to your underquilt? Does an underquilt need a mode to work on a Dangerbird? Or is it a personal preference thing.

That is one incredible piece of equipment!
It's ready for anything nature can throw at it.
I will be haunting Papa Smurf's new website

Great looking setup.
UQ mod not specific to my DBird Titan, just had Adam add in the new "baffles" and update the suspension. In looking at the Dbird, I see no reason why any different UQ would be needed, I'd just already been in talks with Adam over the update. Unfortunately I sent off my UQ about 5 days before my new hammock showed, so no nights spent so far! Got my shipping notice from Adam on Friday, so next week sometime...
