    I think that's the first time I've ever heard...
    I was sleeping on the ground, but had my hammock set up just in case.
    Haha.
    How many time have we read the question of "What happens if I have to go to ground?"
    Then you go and prepare for getting the heck off the ground. That's a new classic.

    Fantastic trip report! Love the wolf pics and the fawn pics. You've got this Florida boy longing for the North! Spent a couple years in Wisconsin around Rice Lake - miss that a little. Not too much, though. No shoveling in the winters here.

    Enjoyed the fact you introduced your young nephew to the experience, in turn it will cycle down to him and his children one day.

    Great pictures, putting us with you on your experiences from last year from the wolf and fawn to your shelter with standing wood as a wind block..
