    Tadpole tarps from WL

I spoke with someone at WildernessLogic yesterday and they seem like nice folks and I think I will purchase from them. They have two options, the tri-loops (some sort of triangle material at the corners) and a tie out in the middle of the side. Does anyone have any feelings on either or both option since each one is a $10 extra?

    Thanks

Havent shopped tarps with them.but have one of their hammocks. Marty seems to.be a very cool.guy, nice to.wprk.with and patient with needs and questions. Have enjoyed their products and service.

    Tarp

I got one the other day. When I got It I thought this thing Is so light In shipping envelope. I got a 11' ridgerline and corner storage pockets for $85. Great deal! Pockets let you store your guidelindes. They are made of mesh.

The tie out is so that you can close the ends down in wind or cold weather. I'd think you'd need 2 on each side for that to work well, but 1 may accomplish it. Shug has a video showing the tie outs on a tarp that is similar in size. I think he went 24" from each end with the tie outs. If you're not a cold weather camper I don't think I'd worry about them. I've got a DIY version of the tadpole and haven't needed the doors closed down, so I've never put tie outs on it.

i use a TadPole and really like it, it is primary tarp.
i believe the tri-loops refer to the point where the line attaches to the tarp. Tadpoles come with std poly web loops (my pref) or you can opt for small triangle shaped rigid plastic/nylon "rings".
i also do not have the "pull out" option on my TadPole either. (i like the smooth, slickness of no pull out for my warm weather tarp).
i also have WL's OMW with standard tie out loops and 2 pull outs.(the OMW is my winter condo)

you'll really like the quality and TLC that WL injects into all their gear.
