    Egg Crate uq?

I was thinking that surely someone on this forum has tried to make an uq out of one of those foamish egg crate things you put on a normal mattress. I was thinking that you could try to sew/glue/tie a piece of that to a piece of syl (to block out wind) and string it up under your hammock.

I have no idea if this would work at all, just an idea that I thought you guys could respond to.

A very similar product already exists to what you are thinking. It is the SuperShelter for Hennessey Hammocks.

I will say that I tried something similar and abandoned the project as it was way more fussing and fiddling to shape the foam to fit my hammock.

If you're looking for simple, the PLUQ is about as easy as it gets. Without modification, mid-40's is comfy...
