    CP is infamous for the movie "The Out of Towners," the great crossing the park scene from "Where's Poppa?" and lot's of Charles Bronson "Death Wish I,II,III" action. Maybe that's what y'all are confused about!!!!

    One young woman being brutally raped and left for dead is news. Millions of people in and out of the park without incident isn't.

    I could take you places in my little town of under 10K which are probably more dangerous than most Central Park.

    Soon as summer lets up, i'm doing it!!! "Chinese bus" to NYC ( from DC ) bring folding bike so its not too "Urban Cowboy," to get around the city, spend the night in CP, and submit experience to new trip report forum.

    Just west of where we took the pics, there were a few areas that was a possibility. Of course, the kids said they would do it.

    I used to live on E.78th b'tween 1st. Ave and York.
    Also, I grew up in Charlotte and family still lives there. Out on the westside. Coulwood hills area off of Hwy 16.
