My foot actually feels totally fine, I just have to work a bunch because I want to do as little as possible when I'm gone for 9 days for trail days and the gorge.

But, I will for sure keep you in the loop for the Aug/sep trip and will have a date set in early June. I'm so anxious for that trip.

Glad your hand is doing well and I'll see you in a few months.

Thumbs up Nice Hang - Thank you

I want to thank all those that came out. It was a good time with good people. FatDaddy and I will be planning another one for this fall.

A special thanks to LoneTracker and RBinHood for the friction fire building demonstration. It was educational. Also, the food you guys shared was something special.

I'm sorry I missed you guy Sunday morning. My son had an awards banquet to go to on Sunday noon, and I need to get moving early. Next time I'll try to stick around to see everyone off.

Thank you Hammock Forums for being a great resource for putting this kind of event together. Your awesome!

Take care, and keep on hanging. We will see you again next time.

I suppose we should start looking at fall dates now.

November is bambi killin' time, October? Halloween Hang?
Spetember is busy with scout outtings, I could take one off and hang though... just saying.

Next time more hike in distance, less hike in distance?

    More Bushcraft?

    more of Rbinhood's Deli?

There is always the fall northern hang which will be on the SHT. More mileage too.

I would love to see us do a hang in Conover. There is a tree plantation there that would be perfect! Fishing and eagle river near by. You could hike to your hearts content or drive right up the the many spots on either side of the Tamarack creek. Very rustic, no very grown over other than some ferns

If we would have had one of those at camp I would have just moved my hammock next to it and tried to tuff it out! Haha

If I could place the first vote for a fall hang I think late September or early October would be perfect... With some of the conversation I had with Lorax he may have some great ideas for a location as well. Some of the places he was talking about really sounded great for a fall hang!
