Ryan and I went out yesterday and cut up a couple of logs, and snapped a few more pics of the hang area and then...well.. we took naps...

    Cwh # 1

Been gone two days and I'm back two pages of posts. Seriously, I am in for this. Sorry I didn't get to cut wood. Family.

We will need a bit more firewood don'cha think. Call me for cheap labor.

I think we could use a bit more firewood, nothing large in diameter, smaller wood burns more evenly and brightly. "nothing bigger than your wrist" ... or MY wrist, I am pretty fat.

To everyone doing the prep, thank you. Looking forward to it. I'll be in touch when the date gets closer.
Or shoot me a PM if I can contribute somehow.

Same here. Although I'm two hours away, let me know if there's a way I can contribute anything.

I checked out the sat image of the area. It looks like a crushed gravel trail the whole way. Am I correct?

Yes the main trail is very smooth flat crushed gravel.

Wow, it's changed from when I lived there. Trail used to be just a rutted two track. Not sure I like the idea of improving it. It just seemed more wild back there when it wasn't paved. I used to run for hours back there with my dogs.
