Well I'm crushed y'all. Due to some unfortunate news I got just now, I have to tender my regrets. Been looking forward to this since I read the first post in the thread. Been excitedly following along n will continue to do so. Have fun!

(insert pithy quote here)
If anyone is looking for a more lengthy walk you can also walk in from the parking area on hwy 153, it does take a few hours to walk though. All you have to do is follow the gravel path so pretty easy.
Ain't gonna make it, but like Dux, I've been following along and hopin'.
Ya'all have fun now, Ye hear!!!

I'm still in. I won't have my new UQ in time, but it will still be great to get out.
At this point, a friend and I are coming for sure. Hope to be there by 4:00 pm Friday, and stay until Sunday morning.
Looking at the weather for Friday-Sunday, and things are not looking good for a dry hang this weekend. I sure hope this does not turn into a sloppy, wet bust.
Butwhat2 and I are both showing up friday afternoon whether rain or shine! We will be taking the long walk from the south end!
I would like a nice long walk from the south Friday afternoon, but it will depend on what time I can leave work.
The actual "camp" is the red dot on the map back on page 1 or 2....correct?
I just found this. If I had a hammock, I would go. At least now I know HFs is a place where information about planned group outings in my geographical region can be found. I've wanted to do stuff like this for a long time.
Count me as hopefull for a Saturday morning arrival. Fingers crossed.
