Well with great help from the forums I was able the make a great underquilt from a $10 poncho liner. Looking foward to using it next week at Boy Scout summer camp. I will update later with pictures.

Free advice worth what you paid for it. ;-)
Last year in the bwca my son used a PLUQ with an emergency blanket down to 40F and high winds. He slept like a baby, as a plus at only 4'4" it is a full length underquilt for him. I really want to get a couple more and cut them up and make summer top and underquilts. Pics or it didnt happen.
