    Cool Video: Spring

Just did a 2 night 3 days hang at a friends place.

First day -1*C, night - 6*C (and clear skies)
Second day +4*C, night +3*C (and raining)
Third day +6*C (clouds and some sun)

And now spring is at hand.
    Best,
    Blaze

Nice teaser to lead in to spring. To see the colours coming out of the ground gives us all something to look forward to. Thanks Blaze!

    Very nice Blaze.
It will be another 6 weeks before I'll get to see my Crocus bulbs coming up out of the ground.

So you plan to replace your alky stove with the candle stove?
Or is it just to warm water for coffee/tea?

Nice to see your smoking buddy from the Solstice video..... good to have a friend to camp with from time to time.
Are you for-going the mini-atomic for the candle lantern? Just a thought.
    As always....I enjoyed your trip.

The teepee looks pretty good, stove/heater and all. I was thinking, instead of twisting that nifty little lantern, which might damage it after a while, you could use a match stick, or something, on both sides (opposite each other) to stop it collapsing. Hold them in place, then push down to lock them in. Your smoking friend looked like he was having a good time. lol Thanks for the video, oh and your tarp was looking supur good!

Some years we have spring as early as the end of February and then other years it is the beginning of May that brings the spring. Hope it is early this year.

It can be hard for me to take the decision to go out, but from there on it is all down hill. Hope you have a great time hanging with your son.

I can think of no better stove than the Mini Atomic, but it has grown to big for my cook kit. Thus I have ordered a Vargo Titanium Triad Alcohol Backpacking Stove. There is a chance it will fit my cook kit. If not I will get Tinny to make me a Mikro Atomic.

So of I went to fiddle with matches and what do you know. The lamp is designed to be pulled an additional millimeter or two up and then it looks in place. Thanks a mill Brucie for the help.

I have seen and held one....not much smaller than my Mini-Atomic. The one I watched was a bit fiddly to start and burn. Better luck with your Blaze!
