Can't make it. Heading down to louisiana the following week. Need to save some funds for gasoline, and maybe some noodlin'! Hopefully the monthly trips will continue though and I'll see you all at the next one.

I'm the new guy from Lancaster Bannerstone mentioned. Can't wait to get out in the woods and meet you all!
I know they usually have water available just prior to camp site C. Will they provide water this early in the year?

The tanks are filled with potable water and the taps are positioned lower than the fill point. I don't think there is a threat of freezing because the water is never in the pipe above the freezing level until you lift the lever. I'm pretty sure it's always there. The location of the water is about 100 yards from camp c. It's easily reached at anytime.

It didn't freeze on the last Hike'n'Hang, I don't think it freezes. Is always there and ready.
yes there will be water. I was just there
If I can get my DIY UQ done I might be in for the 3rd if anybody is going to be there that night.
It might be a stretch for me to commit to the 2nd, but I'm in for the 3rd.
When Luke, Slo and I were there two weeks ago, we saw 10 degree temps, and the water was still flowing. There is a latrine as well, so no worries about frozen ground, if you know what I mean
If I can get the 2nd off early, I'll be there and should be able to make it to the site by sundown and may stay both nights. Otherwise, I'll plan to be there on Saturday morning. It wouldn't be a rough night hike either, so the jury is still out.

I'm going to play saturday night by ear but more than likely it'll be just friday night for me. Regardless I'm probably going to stick around and hangout a good part of the day saturday. Just hate getting up and rushing back to make it to work.
Might actually come down thursday after work but it'll be a late hike in and setup, may just hang in the beast.
