Loosen helped a lot. Funny thing is in my mind tighten to get rid of gaps is the only thing that made sense. I tightened that cinch 3 times before i posted... i didn't even think loosening it would help. Thanks hf. I'm off to sleep! Good night. (Lol)
Well this was wild! I don't recall an emergency request for UQ adjustment before. But looks like you 911 UQ might have pulled it off. Not being familiar with that UQ, all I could think of is "tighten suspension". I'm not that used to the cinch cords on the end yet, my WB synthetic Yeti does not have that, only has draft tubes. My JRBs have that, but I mostly use them on my JRB bridge where it doesn't seem to make a hoot what I do, it's just always right. But I'll keep Slo's "loosen on the foot side" tip tucked away.
In the meantime, my hat is off to UQ-911!
Yea...pretty awesome ride of the UQ 911. Slo, you did good!!
The pic below shows how the calf ridge can create a concave curve on the underside of hammock that the UQ simply cannot conform to. My plan is to add a draft collar to the UQ.
Being discussed here.

All is well. I slept warm after the adjustment. Tapatalk/hammockforum saved me from a cold night.
In cheesy commercial voice: thank you hammock forum!
