Not too far away now. Are any of you fishermen planning to bring a Tenkara rod? I would love to see one in action before I pull the trigger on one for myself.

My dad should be coming with me now. We may bring some fishing gear, but no Tenkara rod...though I'd love to see one.

Well... this hang, for me, got trumped last night at dinner. My youngest daughter came home from school with news that her school is planning a "Daddy/Daughter Luau" that Saturday evening which will be a fundraiser for their art teacher that has been diagnosed with cancer. Both my girls want to go to this and I don't have the heart to put my selfish desires in front what my girls want and the cause for this event.

Swampfox... you know I would be there in a heartbeat but it looks like I'll need a raincheck this time. However, I will be looking forward to the Fall Upstate hang and as soon as you have dates for that one, let me know. I have a friend in Denver that wants to attend as well.

Boy, I wish that I could make this trip. Some friends and I just did the CRT a week ago from Burrells Ford Campground to Hwy 76.

I think my dad and I are heading up around 3pm and should start setting up around 5pm Friday. I'm hopping Swampfox will already be there so we'll know exactly where to set up.

I'm planning to leave from work at noon and go straight there. I should be at the trailhead by 2:30. It's about a 30-45 minute hike in.

It's not hard at all to find. You should be able to hike north from Burrell's Ford until you reach the bridge to cross over the East Fork, 1.5 miles. I believe they're planning to set up camp at that intersection.

That's the place. Don't cross the bridge.
There is plenty of room to the right and left of the bridge.

    See you there.
