Yes I have thought some organization in the shelf would be nice. As it is it's just a catchall.

As for my glasses, I just hang them from the ridgeline. That's worked fine for me thus far. Maybe a smaller ridgeline organizer for these important items is the easiest solution for us both.

Missed this when you first posted. Must say you did an awesome job. That camo pattern is one of my favorites too.

I think you may have inspired me to make an attached net hammock like yours.

I figured it wasn't the coated stuff, but that's all I could find for woodland camo.

Nice, you are from my neck of the woods. I'll be car camping with some ground dwellers this weekend on the east side of Lake George.

I think I'm gonna make two more out of ACU 1.1, then I'm onto something else. They will either be up for sale or given to some buddies...

I have 2 WBBBs already and from what I see your work looks like the real deal. What an awesome job. I bought some of the group buy acu camo and am thinking of building one like yours for my son.

Did you use the plans here to make yours? If so what length did you make and were there any changes you made? Any other tips to make construction easier?

Thanks for the compliment. I used a combination of the plans you listed, and templates from THIS thread.

Key points to make sure you do are the grosgrain loops on the two ends by the whipping. These provide structural integrity for the footbox and shelf. I used the one piece footbox/shelf pattern, but changed it by putting a radius in the footbox, instead of the big triangle. I think it was something like a 4" radius if I remember correctly. Using the 68" wide fabric was perfect because I could trim off 8" for the full length to make the piece for the zipper that attaches to the bug netting. Another difference is I build the whole thing, lay the ridgeline and loops in, then whip the hammock. This brings everything together nicely
