Talking I made two more...in CAMO!

So after I made my first Blackbird Tribute, seen in this thread HERE , I decided it was time for another because once you start...you just can't stop! I love my Blackbird, it's an awesome hammock. But, I have really wanted one in Camo. So, I decided to make one!

Then I got thinking though. My friend Pete (raiffnuke), has made me a few things, and hooked me up with my first serious knife, and has been a great dude since the day I met him (thank you HF), and consider him a good friend now. So, I decided to make him one too!

    So here they are!!!

    Pete's - footbox

    Pete's - rear view

I gave Pete his hammock on Saturday and hope he gets good use out of it. He plans to do a little review on it, so look for that thread real soon

    And here is mine

    Another footbox

    Rear view

A double layer with whoopies in stuff sack at 23.2oz!!

Grosgrain sewn for looks, and support which is essential

    All whipped up!

    Sewing in the zipper

And the inevitable smile you get when you lay in your hammock

dude, how sweet is that thing. i love camo as well, it should be a crayon. if brandon hooked it back up again with a 1.0 dbl in camo i'd buy a 4th. some serious quality work it looks like - i love custom work - screams attention. good job!! how come that dumbbell isn't on the scale - that's your stake right?

I can't say enough good things about this hammock! Yukon really outdid himself this time! I am honored at this wonderful gift and the great friendship we have...all thanks to HF!

I will be giving this baby a good test hang this coming weekend with a review to follow.

Thanks again Yukon, it is an honor to have you as a friend.

I wish it was from Scott but he didn't have any. Rachel listed it as a 1.6oz ripstop, but I think it's more like 1.4 or something. Whatever it is, it's nice stuff

I was hoping you found some more 1.1 that Scott was selling... I bought some a long time ago, made an awesome hammock out of it. (here) and wish I had more 1.1 camo to make a single layer out of...

    Nice work!
