Northern New Englanders, where are you?

I know pure_mayhem lives relatively close by. I'm in New Hampshire. I'm going on my first overnight hang soon, anyone want to join me? I'm extremely flexible on scheduling. I don't really have a place in mind yet and open to suggestions. If I end up going by myself, I'll probably just hit a local state park (Pillsbury most likely).

I'm in MA. My availability is limited, but I have gone out a couple times this year, once near Rutland VT and once to mt. greylock in ma. I can do overnights, but not very long trips.

Let me know if you plan anything and I might jump in

I'm in Southern NH, I'm game !!

right now I'm getting in shape for a 175miler on the AT from VT(just over the boarder from Hanover) to ME.

This past week I did seventy miles to give me an uninterrupted stretch from Hanover to Monson, ME. That's a nice piece of hiking you have ahead of you.

As for the hang, I vote for the Grafton Notch area.

Yes that would be nice. My weekends are so darn busy though. I would do the best I could to attend one though. If it was in Maine I would have a better chance at making it to one.

attroll, and others, I'd like to seriously consider planning a group event sometime this Fall. For starters, I'm wondering if any of you have any location suggestions? I'll travel almost anywhere in VT, NH, or ME but I know attroll would like to stay as close to home as possible.

Hi - I've just started reading about hammocks and am very interested in seeing one in action, so I would try real hard to get to a gathering!

I'm in central MA as well. Haven't been out this year but I'm going on a family trip next weekend to VT.

Pillsbury is a nice park. I've been there with a scout troop and we had a good time but I didn't hang that weekend.
