Why aren't Dutch Clips on the OutdoorTrailGear website anymore? Am I missing something? Don't tell me he stopped making the best thing for tree straps!!!

I believe he and the Jacks have a deal worked out that jacksrbetter.com will sell them.
I knew they were on the Jacks website, but didn't realize it was going to be an exclusive thing now...
It was always exclusive. Dutch sold them through JRB since right after they were invented, before he had a site or other products.
Dutch clips started out as a limited informal project that Dutch and 2Questions worked on. They worked through the details of the initial couple of batches which were sold as a group buy. The continuing demand for them just wasn't anticipated. Only later, after there were folks still wanting some after the buys, Dutch decided to keep producing them. And since he didn't have a site and wasn't making other products he decided to sell them through one of the great existing vendors.
Point being, Dutch Clips were never actually on the Dutchware site.

AS, you are a wealth of HF history. We really need to get this stuff archived otherwise with this group, the reliance upon oral tradition will make for some great but potentially inaccurate stories around the campfire when our kids are writing on HF.
Sorry for the drift, just had to say it.

This is the question most frequently asked. AS has his facts down pretty well. He forget about how easy I am on the eyes though.
