Wait a minute, didn't I just see another thread about favorite top quilts? Is this thread baiting?

You know, I like the do-it-yourself stuff just because of the "cool-I-made-this-myself" feeling, but I do own a few cottage-made quilts and love them too. I admire the quality and craftsmanship.

My favorite under quilts have side channels that allow me to slide the quilt back and forth to easily adjust. I have a few under quilts where the shock cord is just tied to the ends, fixing the quilt in a position unless I untie and adjust. I prefer the channels on the sides and I think there are many brands that do that.

I do prefer the UQ with side channels over the ones I have that tie off. I never thought much on that feature until I used one that had the side channel. Now I choose that UQ to head out with over the others just for that reason! I like simplicity.

Thanks for the respond in both posts. As a noob, trying to learn, so I make no mistakes in my first purchase of quilts..

Yetis and Te-Was are my current favorites.
Genuine Draft digs the JRBs and SnugFit.
Still need to pick up a darn HG quilt. I suspect it will be right next to the Yetis and Te-Was.

Who cares about showers, gourmet food, using flush toilets. Just keep on walking and being away from it all.

    I'm very disappointed in you.

I have an Incubator and love it. Easy to adjust, warm as all get out, dials in quickly (for me) and well, it just looks darn good on a hammock.

    Enjoy the elevation
