Can't really say until you've tried many.

I only have two different makes. For 3 season I have Warbonnet. For winter I have Underground Quilts. After a recent winter trip, I can say the Underground Quilts are great!

OK BillyBob, you've got a lot of favorites but the OP asked for "full UQ".

I gotta agree with the HG Incubator. Of course, you also would have to figure out which temperature range...
I like mine in a Zero degree. It's got this three dimensional cut, wherein it has more downy goodness around your torso and less along your legs.

And then, you'd have to figure out what 'vintage', as Adam keeps changing the construction & suspension. A few months back he started adding draft collars. They added grossgrain loops along the length for more user tweeks.

Then just last month, he came out with an upgraded suspension system with 6 points of adjustment... See what I mean?

I just got my 20* full length underquilt and tested it today while it was 30* with wind chill of 20 and I was very warm. I didn't even have my tarp up. I couldn't be happier with my Leigh Lo underquilt. I can't imagine how nice her stuff will be after she redesigns.

I love the Speer Snugfit (no longer in production) and JRB Mt. Washington 4.

If I could only have one, it would be the Snugfit.

Hmm well. last year I had my diy screen door shrik wrap plastic edge bound and elastic straped under the hennesey. When it dropped into teens with my 20 degree bag i Layered my down vest and fleece jacet under with a space blanet in between.
I just finished making a new version using free ripstop I cut to size and added polyester insulation. I glued insulation to ripstop with 3m spray adhesive. Now that it stayes put I sewed mylar spce blanket on top. I hemmed it with oversize cut ripstop.
So far this underliner permiates heat! We shall she how it works in the wild soon. IT weighs only 8 OZ. I should post some pictures!
