I'm torn between the two, never had a camping hammock. One important consideration for me is the sleeping position. I know you can lie diagonally in a Warbonnet, not sure about the Clark. Also, if you prefer one or the other, why?

No, I don't, but only because I prefer to lay more straight than diagonal. You might do a search because I know I posted about the differences between the two several times. The Blackbird is really an awesome hammock especially when weight is a factor and I still have one even though it's not my favorite.
Personally I am of the opinion that the pockets add no value to the hammock on the Clark and really just a gimmick.
If you are really torn I suggest you order a blackbird and try it first. If you're happy leave it at that. If not you can sell it on here laser fast for $160.
Clarks don't really excel at providing a good diagonal. Then again, that isn't what they are going for with their designs. Clarks, Claytors, DD Hammocks, and a couple of others encourage an inline position. It isn't any better, or worse, than a diagonal depending on your personal comfort preferences.
You're in Tennessee. I can't imagine it would be difficult to find a couple of folks with these rigs that would let you try them out. Finding a Group Hang somewhere nearby would be your best bet. You're pretty likely to see both of these hammocks at just about any hang. They are both considered Cadillacs in their respective classes.

I can show you a black bird sometime for sure if im out your way or your in Nashville. I have sold off all my Clark's so I can't help you there anymore.

Hey thanks everyone. This helped me decide to go ahead and buy the WBBB. Sent my order about an hour ago or so.

We have a sub forum called "Hangouts, Campouts, and Trip Planning". Cruise through there and scan the titles. If there isn't one active at the moment, safe bet one will come along soon.

Different for me. I love them pockets. Here in Australia we have lots of let's call them "unfriendly" insects and other creatures around. I don't like to leave anything on the ground at all and love the way I can pack everything into the pockets including my shoes. The added insulation or let's call it 'wind draft protection' is another bonus too.
I guess it really depends what you want to do and where you life.
