How to know which end is which

I installed "Red" for the head on my HH DJ like Straw Hat originally mentioned. I just picked up BB that had grey whoopies already installed, so I simply put a small piece of blaze orange duck tape on the head end cinch of the bishop sack.

Ain't duck tape great? Maybe I should make that my signature!

If I did that, when I pulled the stuff sack out of storage I'd read it and think "'H' = Hammock"

just think ...... "Head"-Hammock-hanger and you'll be fine

my first ring buckle suspension had the ropes tied with double fisherman's bend knots. I just took the "extra" from the knot on the head end, and went around the standing part again. I suppose a double fisherman's at one end, and a triple at the other would work out the same. Bigger knot=head end. I know, no fancy rhyming but it worked.

I colored a little black dot on the head end of both hammocks and remember the teenagers worst nightmare...blackhead.
