    Glow in the dark thread?

Hey all, I saw some glow in the dark thread yesterday. Anyone ever use thread that glows? I thought it would be pretty

I went through a phase where I was using reflective this and that, and inexplicably found it annoying. It was odd...too much of a good thing, I guess.

Just make sure the thread is a good quality polyester.

Cotton doesn't glow. I have seen this stuff on Joann's or Hancocks website. If I remember correctly its polyester. Talk about see your stitch lines.

I am currently using a glow in the dark 2.0 mm line that has a reflective tracer in it. As cool as I thought it might be, unless you plan to stand there with a light on it for several minutes to get a 10 minute glow out of it, its just another gimmick. I will say the reflective tracer in it works really well and I have a good pic of it at night, if I can find it I will post it.

I bought the line from a seller in Hong Kong off of Ebay. Took multiple weeks for it to arrive but it functions very well as my tarp guylines. I have no issues with its performance as far as holding taut. Here is a link to the seller in case anyone is interested. I don't see the line on his site but he may have access to more if you are interested.

Will look now for that pic...

Used reflective cord on the tie outs and reflective grosgrain on the tree straps. This hammock almost glows in the dark. It was pretty funny next to my camouflage bridge set up.

Thanks Jazilla... been digging and I can not find my pic but it looks exactly like yours except on a Superfly. It does look cool though...
