Cool 30 Denier 1.1 Ripstop Nylon

I am Larry from Magna Fabrics, the supplier of the 68 inch wide 30 denier nylon ripstop. Thank you for both the interest and all of the orders on our fabric. First of all, I would be happy to answer any questions or provide free samples to any of the members of Hammock Forums. We will be updating our stock position on Monday February 27 with many new rolls.
I recently moved the warehouse to North Bergen, NJ. which is close to my home and I can now supervise all of the shipments. I have been able to either provide same or next day shipment to all of the recent orders.
To answer some of the questions posted on this site 1. denier refers to the thickness of the fiber or thread. A 30 denier fiber is fairly thin and provides a smoother and silkier texture than a heavier denier. 2. We are not a retail store and while I will allow someone to pickup a roll, please be aware that I can not spend a great deal of time with you and I do apologize in advance but please do not confuse being busy with being grumpy. 3. The $7.50 charge actually reflects a charge of $8 that FedEx ground places on roll shipments since it does require special handling. 4. In addition to the ACU pattern we also have a few rolls of the Marpat Woodland green pattern at the same price. 5. The fabric is machine washable and tumble dry on low heat only, do not attempt to iron or place in a hot dryer.
For quickest replies to questions or request for samples email me at [email protected].

    Welcome to HF Larry.

I am on my second small roll and have received quick shipping and a great product from Magna both times.

Any chance of additional 1.1d-1.9d nylon or polyester selections in the future, or is your product line limited by the nature of your business/suppliers?

    Hi Larry,

Another thanks for a great deal. And wow! that was seriously fast shipping.
    It arrived Saturday.

I personally didnt speak with grumpy larry when i spoke with you on the phone,
you were very courteous and willing to help. In fact i pestered you a couple of times and you were very patient with me.

Let me know if/ when you get that ACU 1.1 camo in silnylon.

    Thanks again.

    Hi Larry,
Thanks for joining in and giving us a name to the company, that does go a long way. I've got an order in from you for a 210 yd roll. Hope to see it soon. With the success we've had with your company so far, I'd expect more interest and business in the future from this forum.

It's always nice when one of the vendors takes their time to personally address our community. I believe it shows a commitment to the customer. Thank you Larry for taking time out of your busy schedule for all of us. I was considering buying some of the MARPAT fabric guess I'll be doing that this week then.

Welcome to HF, Larry. As was said above, it is appreciated when vendors join in the forum--shows concern and commitment. I've checked out your site before. I'm pretty good on fabric and projects at the moment, but I will definitely consider ordering in the future. Thanks for joining in.
