First hammock ordered WBBB and Superfly - anything i've forgotten?

    Hi guys,

Super excited to finally submit the order this morning for a WBBB and Superfly!

    Ordered the Whoopie Slings
    Tree Straps
    Biners
    Guyline
    WBBB and
    Superfly.

I've flicked Brandon an email as i forgot to order the yeti UQ at the same time.

As a first time hanger and living in Oz the freight adds up quick so as a newbie question is there anything i've missed (even from other stores) that I would need to get it all going asap?

    Cheers
    Sloth

Looks like you have all you need. If not available locally to you, McNett Silnet or Permatex Flowable silicone is necessary to seal the four tarp pull outs.

Ask him for the multi-purchase discount.

You'll need stakes for the tarp, tie outs. Maybe some DutchFlyz, which really simplify setting up your tarp ridgeline.

top quilt? Sleeping bag? I don't know how cold it gets there, but sometimes just the UQ isn't enough...especially if you are a cold sleeper like RBDodger

    Hei,

Did you ordered the lines for the Superfly, since it comes "bare"?
    - Ridgeline with something to tie them
    - 8 set of lines to stake it out and
    - stakes of course

    Thanks Guys!

I've got some shock cord on order locally for the tie outs, plenty of existing stakes, and i ordered the yellow guyline from warbonnet.

    What's the best for ridgeline?

There's ton's of different options, from braided mason's line to zing-it (which is what the yellow guyline you ordered is), Lawson Glowire, Kelty Triptease, etc. It's not load bearing (at least not in the sense that your hammock suspension is), so your options are much greater.

I use 2.5mm reflective rope. The same stuff that Nite-ize supplies with thier figure 9 tent line kit. I found it in black at a local outfitter and grabbed 100 feet of it.

Pretty soon, all you'll need is two trees

Maybe some S-Biners, Cordlocks, and Mitten Hooks,

oh snap, I didn't know the pull outs on the superfly needed to be seam sealed. Glad I read this.

Congrats Sloth, I ordered the same hammock and tarp. Can't wait to get mines.
