Sorry to hear about your no-show(s) - We all have things happen.

I'm packed and ready to hit-the-road as soon as work lets me go.

Hamhocker is sick and off to the Dr this morning. Hopefully she will get some good meds to make her feel better by Friday morning

we haven't even started packing yet . I need to get our kayaks out of the garage and clean them up since they haven't been in the water since last yr. It has been so long since I have kayak/camped I have forgotten what to bring

I hope it's just a little bug and she can conquer it! My boat is getting rained on right now, that's prob all it's gonna get too!
Just throw it all in and some dry bags. It's easier in a boat than on your back.

Rain doesn't bother me! I was paddle/camping a couple of years ago on Fontana the weekend of the rains when it flooded Nashville. We paddle in it all day then watched the frogs come out by the 100's at night. It was awesome.
This is the same time of year when the frogs mate so we will prob see a LOT of them singing their mating tunes.
Also this is marked as the spring wildflower weekend in the Nantahala National Forest.
    I LOVE SPRING!!

I'll never forget the first time I saw Lake Santeetlah. It was the fall of 1988 and I saw sail boats out there. That was a wonderful weekend at Thunderbird Mountain Resort. Ahhhh Good Memories......
