    Ultra NoSeeUm at OWF

Has anyone worked with the NOSEEUM Ultra Blk from OWF?

    http://www.owfinc.com/fabrics.html

Only 53" wide, but I called and the .7oz per square yard is correct. They said the nylon NOSEEUM is lighter and more durable. I'm just curious if anyone has used this and if it sews the same as the regular Noseeum.

    Thanks...

I can't speak directly to this fabric but I have used another supplier's 0.7 oz/sy noseeum.
I found the other one to be plenty durable. It did stretch more than the stiffer handed netting. So, some additional care was needed when sewing.

Again, it was not this exact fabric I had experience with.
I will add that I have been buying from OWFINC.com for many years and have nothing but great things to say about them.

+1 on OWF and their service. I'm thinking this is simmiliar to the nano see um thru hiker sells, just on a narrower roll. Did you use the stuff from thru hiker.com?

Yes, my experience was with Thru-hiker's nanoseeum netting.

    Just a heads up...

Received this fabric today. Width on my 4 yard section is 54-55". Weight is at .7 oz per square yard. According to OWF, durability should be better than normal noseeum. I'll be sewing with it soon so we will see how it goes together.

It looks like this could be a very viable netting option though... And much cheaper than thru hikers nanoseeum.
