How to stake out the doors?

How do you folks with doors (mainly the HG cuben) stake out the doors? Do they just crisscross to your corner tie out stakes?

I leave the doors naked till I pitch the tarp and decide how I want the doors. My main guylines are extra long, loops on each end.

    1. Crisscross using the spare line from the main guyline from the opposite side of the tarp (prusik w/clip)

    2. Stake out using spare line from same side guyline (prusik w/clip)

The prusik & nylon clip weigh 1.5gm. Low tangle.

Ooh, interesting. I think I grasp what you are saying, any chance for a pic or two?

Sidenote: This should be my 400th post. I feel like I'm on here all the time, but judging against the volume of some others, I'm a typin turtle!

I do my doors depending on pitch and weather and wind and mood.
sometimes I just let them hang loose...they are quiet even in a light breeze.

    Shug,
Do you use a Continuous ridgeline or two separate lines?
I got one on the way and want to be safe with the ridgeline.

I do two separate ones. Just my preference.
    Any will work fine though.
