The MEC Viator down quilt caught my eye today. I like the price at $132. Very tempting to get to use for a winter underquilt.

Heres the specs:
- 575 duck down. queen size

- When folded in half it has 15cm (almost 6 inches) of loft
- weight 898g / 2lbs
- Dimensions 200cm (79 inches) long
- When folded in half it's 100cm (39 inches).

What do you guys think? Could this be worked with to make an excellent underquilt? What do you think the temperature rating could be?
Do you think when doubled in half it would be wide enough?

Compare with the JRB Mt. Washington 4 which has
77 inches long, and 42 inches wide.
