still better than the 28$ like last year.

if we had 24 qty,, it would have been cheaper

If one had a trailer and wanted to attend the Waldo Hang which of the campgrounds should one make a reservation in/to?

OK....I just got back from Waldo Lake and I have good and bad news.

Bad news: All three campgrounds are full and reserved for the time we need them (August 24, 25 and 26).

Good news: I saved a bunch of money on my auto insurance!

I have frantically been in contact with Rip Waverly on an alternate campground location for our hang and we have come up with Scott Lake campground along the Old McKenzie highway. The good news is that it's only $5.00/day to camp there vs. the $20.00/day at Waldo Lake, has awesome wilderness hiking trails and is in a beautiful wooded setting next to a lake. Great fishing there, too! The downside is that it is first come, first serve with no reservations possible.

Scott lake is very nice. One day someone should go get a limited entry permit for obsidian trail.

You have to apply online for them and now PAY FOR IT. Big change (not for the better!) from previous years.

Alright so I got a pass for 4 people for saturday, those who come with me can choose to give me a beer or one dollar in payment.

Btw I can change these dates and go another time if we chose another location

Just some info on the raffle. It will be held on Saturday, 8/25/12 at 6pm, at my site at Scott Lake campground. Must be present to win, one ticket per person only. $20.00 each ticket. Same as last year
