Spent some great vacations on St John, great place and thanks for sharing.
That was nice.....Meg and I spent a lot of time there in our Cruise Ship Days.
Do ya'll have Voyageurs Natl Park on your list?....http://www.nps.gov/voya/index.htm
Shug
Whooooo Buddy)))) All Secure in Sector Seven
..speaking of, when leaving St.Thomas we saw a cruise ship too big to actually reach into the port-6000 passengers
Spent a week in Voyageurs sea kayaking on the big (and can I say windy) lakes, loved the little hotel, Kettle Falls maybe? used to be a house of ill repute-the staff put our kayaks in a shed that night to keep the bears out of our food.
After Voyageurs we did 6 days on Isle Royale. Truly a wonderful world you live in Shug.
Hey, thought of something interesting, on the way up went to the Wolf Institute and a guy there said he'd never heard of Voyageurs! Like me not know of the Smokies...I gathered after a few more interactions that not all Minnesotans like how the gov. did the park-probably like many southerners dont like how they did GSMNP.]
Also went to Grand Portage Nat. Monument---that would be a nice hike but we ran out of time--the Voyageurs were seriously stout to tote those huge fur bundles that far....Shug the Voyageur!
Awesome location, hope I can get there someday. Thanks for sharing.
Beautiful. Thanks for sharing an awesome trip.
