    "On FedEx vehicle for delivery"

Why! Oh, Why? Why do I have to work on a wonderful day such as this?

What makes it such a great day... my hybrid Burrow is literally on the streets of my town as I write. All of that downy goodness is cramped up tight in a little box, awaiting me to release it; to fluff up to it's glory and show me what a 20º top quilt with a 0º foot box is capable of.

Meanwhile, I'm 12 miles away, stuck in a cubicle, watching, anticipating it's arrival at my house. I refresh the FedEx page, hoping to see that last gray box turn green and say "delivered."

You're almost home lil' buddy! And, I'll be home to free you as soon as I can.

This is one of the reasons I usually have stuff shipped to my office. Just can't stand the thought of it sitting there all lonely and stuff on my front porch.

I ordered my TQ and UQ from them a week after you, so hopefully mine will arrive next week. Hopefully!

Yeah, I am all too aware of that luck. Last Friday, I was unable to go to work, while at the same time a package I had ordered was delivered to my office... I had to make a special trip in just for the package.

    ^^^ Thanks!

I decided to give both my new 20º Phoenix UQ & 20º Burrow TQ (with 0º foot box) a try last night before my campout tonight. I wanted to see how warm it would be without dressing myself too much.

Wearing thin pajama bottoms, a thin long sleeve top and no socks, I tucked myself in and spent a nice warm night in my hammock. I'm not sure what the low was, but when I got up at about 7am, it was in the mid-20s.

The only time I felt a chill was when the TQ came untucked a bit, or when I had curled up and then extended my feet deeper back into the footbox. At no time did I feel cold.

I'd have to say that I am more than ready for anything I will likely encounter with this. I may even have to consider getting a 40º TQ for summers as this one will probably cook me when it's only dropping into the 60–70º range at night.

Combined, the pair weigh 1lb 3oz less than my lightest sleeping bag; so bonus points there for shedding quite a bit of weight.

Anyone that is considering a transition from sleeping bag to a TQ/UQ system, I highly recommend it! And, Hammock Gear makes a quality product.
