    Have fun with you pup!

Boo to you! I was going to Afton tonight, but had a last-minute change of plans. Hopefully we'll bump into each other out there sometime.

I just got home from a snowy night in the woods. It got down to 18f, but I was toasty warm with my pup Kiba in the hammock. Catch you on the next one.

Don't know why but mine doesn't want anything to do with the hammock. Think I need to buy her a tent.

My teacup pomeranian was up with me this morning watching the birds fly around. He loves to sleep in the hammock.

You have a schipperke? I have 2 and they're both very hammock friendly pups. My German Shorthaired pointer would love to get in the hammock too but he's just too big.

My 20+ lb. Schnauzer loves the porch swing with me, so her first opportunity to get in my hammock with me, in she came and settled right down. Now she waits just until I sit down and in she comes, a born hanger.

How does your dog get out there? I need to know this!

Back on topic: Our 1st dog Tonks (Tarrier/Spitz mix) will hop in for a few seconds and then bail. However, I have the feeling that Remus (Auzzie Catle/Spitz mix) will be more than happy to crash in the hammock.

I am not a marathon hiker, and he loves to walk. It's more like a run for him, but he will pull you the whole way. He goes on walks around the neighborhood all the time for a couple miles at a stretch. When I take my Goldwing he rides in a carrier on the back seat. In my avatar he's out with me on my kayak doing a little sailing. He's been snow camping with us too. Overall he's a pretty active little 2lb dog.

I wouldn't even bother with a dog that big.

Just get a pad and put it on the ground next to your hammock. He'll just love being that close to you at night.
