    Hail storm

    Nice video and thanks for sharing. I've endure some extreme weather in the Hoosier National but never hail especially huge hail. Thanks for sharing. Fellow Hoosier up in Muncie.

    I don't know for sure. The majority of the hail was marble sized, but you could find large stones every 15-20 feet.

    Never had my MacCat pelted by hail like that. I did get caught on the trail in some marble sized hail last Spring. All we could do was lean way over and squat down to wait out the storm. This let the packs take the beating. I got a few lumps on my head before we got the pack idea.

    Later I had my MacCat whipped by some really nasty wind. The 12" diameter maples I was hanging from swayed all night and the tarp flapped against my hammock like a loose sail. This was after cinching everything straight down and banjo string tight. I have a lot of respect for my MacCat now. I was the only one of our group to get any sleep and stay dry (except the pair sleeping in a 4-season Big Agnes tent).
