Ok, trip report...
Bush buddy worked great, with no wind the aluminum windsheild acted as a heat reflector and it was just like a campfire after dinner. Sofia had an issue with her UQ caused by a nagging fold, it make a convex space by her feet that could only be remedied by retying the hammock farther apart, not an option in the dark, so we stuck a jacket in the gap. Im about to hunker down, we will see how it all works out, looking forward to American instant oatmeal from the hammock tomorrow!
How did it go ?
Where are u from ?
We had -5 C last night, how many night where you out for ?

We were in Gnesta, a long bit out from Stockholm in Sörmland. We were only out for one night, mostly to test out the underquilts. I had done -4 the week before, and we had just finished the second UQ on Friday. I had short periods with CBS, but only slightly, and I could move around a bit and get a better seal. It was harder for my wife, being her first experience with an UQ and she could never get it completely adjusted, so she ended up using a self-inflating pad, which didn't help completely. We had a very thin mylar/foam pad between the UQ and the hammock, just a 1m square turned diamond-shaped, shiny side against the hammock, but I don't think it helped too much. So, I had a good night, my wife had a bearable one, I was warm and toasty for the most part. Having learned that you have to keep your alchohol in your pocket, we were able to have a Shug-inspired "breakfast from the hammock" before we broke camp. A good test run, we will have to spend some time practicing with the UQ in more bearable conditions out back before we go out again, and make some cozys, but my wife is a grinder, she won't be giving up, despite the CBS last night!
We live near Strängnäs, and we have two mini-backpackers, my two children, who managed really well last summer with 7kg packs and three night trips with hammocks, but I don't know if we could do a SKAHO trip, and definately not until the weather warms up.
Having just paid taxes on gear-making supplies, does anyone have a link to a webshop in Sweden for nylon, carabiners, shockcord and such? I have looked at extremtextil.de, but they don't carry everything.
Is there a Swedish hammock forum somewhere?
Thanks again for all the positive karma, I am so happy to be able to start the season already!
Here are a few pics from my last trip and from last night.

It sounds like you are blessed with a wonderful hiking family!
As the weather warms, you can fine tune your gear over the summer and all be toasty warm next winter. Thanks for sharing the pictures!
We haven't had much of a winter here in the USA. From looking at weather reports, it appears that Europe has taken our winter this year.
