    Can you identify these?Their use?

    I got these in a gear raffle and didn’t ask how they are used. I got some ideas but could anyone explain the original use of these items? Thanks

    I'm pretty they are called.. elephant trunks. They are just like using Dutch clips . You thread your tree huggers through them then placed Whoopie on hook. I've never had any but I believe that's how they work .

    Spent years rock climbing and collecting all sorts of equipment and I've never seen anything like this. Some sort of slide? maybe? How big are they?
